SnowBlo
Post it. Claim it. Clear it.

Your snow. Your price.
Their plow.

Post the job and name your price. Local snow removal businesses claim the work they want, and you deal with them directly.

Now serving the Tahoe basin.

For property owners

Three steps, no middleman

No contracts and no subscriptions. You decide what the work is worth, a local business decides whether to take it, and nobody turns up at your property uninvited.

1

Post the job

Tell us what needs doing, where it is, when you need it by, and what you'll pay. About two minutes, and it costs nothing.

2

Someone local takes it on

You get their name and number right away, so you know who's coming before they turn up.

3

You settle up with them

Work out the details between you, they clear it, and you pay them the price you posted. We never take a slice of that.

Before the first storm

Know before it snows

Nobody checks the forecast every evening in November. We do — and we'll tell you the night before, while there's still time to line someone up.

Free. No account. Nothing to cancel.

More about how the alerts work on the storm alerts page.

For snow removal businesses

Find work worth driving to

No bidding, no auctions, no cut of what you earn.

1

Browse what's open

Every job shows the area, the work, and what the owner is paying. Browsing costs nothing.

2

Claim what fits your route

You pay a flat access fee when you claim, and the address and phone are yours.

3

Keep the whole amount

The owner pays you directly. SnowBlo takes nothing out of what you earn for the work.

What SnowBlo is, and isn't

You set your own prices

Property owners post what they're offering. Businesses take the jobs worth taking. SnowBlo never sets a rate.

You choose your own work

No dispatch, no assignments, no acceptance rates, no minimum hours. Claim a job or don't.

You keep what you earn

The access fee is a flat charge for finding the work. It is not a cut of the job.

You run your own business

SnowBlo is a place to find work, not an employer. Every business here is independent, uses its own equipment, and sets its own terms with the customer.

Who's on the board

Independent snow removal businesses

Licensed operators, plow outfits, and sole proprietors who own their equipment and carry their own insurance.

To claim work you need

  • ✓An active business license where you work, if your city or county requires one
  • ✓Your own equipment
  • ✓General liability insurance, with proof on file
  • ✓To set your own rates and your own hours

What it costs

Questions

Frequently asked

How does SnowBlo work?+

You post the work and the price. Independent snow removal businesses browse open jobs and claim the ones they want. SnowBlo hands over contact details and steps out.

Who actually clears my property?+

An independent local business that chose your job. They are not SnowBlo employees and SnowBlo does not assign, schedule, or supervise them. Check their reviews and talk to them before they start, the way you would before hiring anyone to work on your property.

What if nobody claims my job?+

Nothing happens and you owe nothing. Raise your price or widen your timing and repost. Jobs that have sat longest show at the top of the board.

What if the work isn't done right?+

You hired that business, so take it up with them first. Tell us too: businesses with repeated complaints lose access to the board.

How do I list my snow removal business?+

Sign in, then tell us your business name, how it's set up, what equipment you run and where you'll take work. It takes a couple of minutes and you can claim straight away. Insurance details are optional — add them and roof work, parking lots and jobs over $300 open up too.

Does SnowBlo take a percentage of what I earn?+

No. A flat fee per claimed job, nothing else. What the customer pays you is yours.

What is the opening season rate, and what happens after?+

Businesses that join for the 2026–27 season pay about a third less than the standard access fee on every job they claim, all winter. Standard rates start with the 2027–28 season. We're posting both now so there are no surprises later.
