The work is already posted.
Take what fits your route.
Property owners across the Tahoe basin post what needs clearing and what they’ll pay. You browse the board for free and claim the ones worth driving to. No bidding, no auctions, and no cut of what you earn.
You keep the whole job
The owner pays you directly, at the price they posted. SnowBlo never touches that money and never takes a percentage of it.
You decide what it's worth
The price is on the job before you claim it. If $50 for a driveway across town isn’t worth your diesel, skip it. Nothing is assigned to you.
You're still your own business
No exclusivity, no non-compete, no restriction on who else you work for. Customers you find here are yours to keep and work with off-platform whenever you like.
A flat fee per job, never a cut
You pay once, when a job becomes yours. The fee scales with the size of the work, so a small driveway doesn’t carry the same cost as a parking lot — but it is always a fixed number you can see before you claim, not a share of what you earn.
| Job price | You pay | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| $50 – $99 | $6 | $9 |
| $100 – $199 | $12 | $18 |
| $200 – $399 | $24 | $36 |
| $400 – $799 | $45 | $70 |
| $800 and up | $80 | $120 |
Opening season rate: about a third off the standard fee for businesses that join before the first storm, all through the 2026–27 season.
A repeat customer costs half the usual fee, with a $3 minimum. When someone you’ve cleared for before posts again, SnowBlo offers them your business by name and gives you first refusal before the job reaches anyone else.
How a job actually works
1. A job appears
You get a message when something is posted in the basin — the type of work, the neighbourhood, the price, and when it’s needed. The exact address stays hidden.
2. You claim it
The fee is charged and the address and phone number are yours. Only yours — no other business sees them, and nobody else can claim it.
3. You clear it
Arrange the details with the owner however you like. You finish the job and send one to three photos of the cleared property, which is what the owner sees.
4. They pay you
Directly, at the posted price, however the two of you arrange it. Access fees are collected weekly from a card on file, not job by job.
Before you sign up
- ✓You need a card on file to claim. Not to browse or to list yourself — only to claim a job. Claiming is what unlocks somebody's home address, and that shouldn't be free to anyone who types in an email.
- ✓Photos at the end are required, not optional. One to three, taken when you finish. A lot of Tahoe property is somebody's second home and the owner is two hundred miles away — the photo is how they know you came.
- ✓Insurance only for the risky work. Driveways, walkways and steps need none. Roofs, parking lots, and anything over $300 need a current policy on file.
- ✓Weekend operators are welcome. You don't need an LLC or a fleet. If you're earning self-employment income you're already a sole proprietor, and that's enough.
- ✓Give a job back and it's free, within 30 minutes. Claim something, look again and realise it doesn't work — hand it back inside half an hour and the fee is refunded in full.
